JBorn in 1962 in Barcelona (Spain). Lives and works in Barcelona (Spain).

Jordi Colomer is a sculptor and a filmmaker. He is part of this generation of artists who renewed the visual and plastic arts in Spain at the end of the 90’s. He is known for his contributions in the field of video installation where architecture and the city appear as a fictional backdrop in which he questions the influence of urbanism on human behavior.

Jordi Colomer’s work has been exhibited at Spanish Pavillion at the 57th Venice Biennial in 2017, Jeu de Paume (Paris), Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art (London), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), Centre Geoges-Pompidou (Paris), MOCA (Hiroshima), Heritage Square Museum (Los Angeles), Bronx Museum for the Arts (New York), MACBA (Barcelona), Museo Wilfredo Lam (Havana), Singapore Art Museum (Singapore), Fondation Maeght (Saint-Paul de Vence), Argos Center for Art&Media (Brussels), BOZAR (Brussels), Laboratorio Arte Alameda (Mexico), Kölnischer Kunstverein (Köln), Villa Arson (Nice), CCE (Montevideo), Herzliya Museum (Tel Aviv), Matadero Museum (Madrid), FRAC Basse-Normandie (Caen), IAC (Villeurbanne), Fundació Suñol (Barcelona), RAKE visningsrom (Trondheim).
