About

Résonance, an exhibition conceived by Vincent Le Bourdon, founder of studio elementos, at the invitation of galerie Michel Rein.

« A few years ago, I had the chance to work with Michel Rein at his gallery. It was a seminal period in my design career, nurturing my sensibility and sharpening my eye. Résonance was born of this relationship, which is still very much alive. It is the continuation of a dialogue based on listening and commitment - with Michel, with the gallery, with the artists who contribute to a sensitive vision of the world.

At elementos, the creative studio I founded in early 2024, earth is not simply a material : it is origin, memory, breath. We see it as a living language, a sensitive territory to be explored, reinvented and celebrated. Our approach starts from a deep connection with raw matter - humble, universal, silent - to reveal its forgotten potential. For the earth carries within it an ancient narrative, common to us all, yet one that must always be rewritten. We believe that beauty is born of the balance between gesture and thought, between craftsmanship and innovation.

The studio is a laboratory for experimentation, where traditional know-how, contemporary research and sensitive collaborations come together. Each creation - whether in the form of a surface, a space, a piece of furniture or an object - is an attempt to listen: to the living, to the present, to the uses of tomorrow.

The Résonance exhibition, conceived with Galerie Michel Rein, embodies this vision. It offers a sensory journey - tactile, visual and olfactory - in which earth is expressed in textures, volumes, imprints and scents through creations born of collaborations with amàco, Carole Calvez, Lucie Ponard and PZ Studio: so many voices enriching the grammar of the material.  Our creations dialogue with those of the gallery's artists, Michele Ciacciofera, Piero Gilardi, Christian Hidaka, Stefan Nikolaev, Edgar Sarin, Franck Scurti and Sophie Whettnall. In an exchange between forms and perceptions, each work composes an element of the itinerary, echoing our relationship with the living, the fragile and the real.

Elementos asserts an aesthetic of connection.
A design that doesn't seek to dominate matter, but to listen to it.
An approach that rejects the divisions between art, architecture and craftsmanship, the better to weave a sensitive way of thinking about the world.
What we shape is not just visible.
It's a presence, an attention, a rhythm.
An invitation to slow down, to feel.
To reconnect with what connects us, deeply.

Résonance opens up a new stage for elementos: this exhibition marks the beginning of a wider movement, where the studio also becomes a place for dissemination and curation. Other projects will soon enrich this universe: creation of pieces, exhibitions, meetings between creators, thinkers, craftsmen and artists. Elementos is thus becoming a label, a living platform dedicated to those who work with matter as one writes a language - with exacting standards, sensitivity and commitment.»
