Michel Rein gallery is pleased to announce an engaging artist talk in celebration of the upcoming exhibition Christian Hidaka: Theatres of the Sky, Skies of the Theatre, opening on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Buk-Seoul Museum of Art. The special place of modern painting in the larger context of visual art history will be discussed in this session. Along with collaborators Anthony Bodin and Akira Taniguchi, Christian Hidaka will discuss their approach and process while showcasing their most recent pieces, which include a large-scale mural they painted while in Korea.
