Le titre de l'exposition Le cercle est le monde choisi par l'artiste, se donne lui-même comme une métaphore paradoxale mettant en regard une idée simple et l'étendue abyssale de ses associations.

Anne-Marie Schneider affirme travailler avec « la conscience et l'inconscient en même temps ». Ce faisant elle nous entraîne dans un vaste système analogique où une chose et l'idée d'une chose, tels un corps et son ombre, marchent étrangement côte à côte. »

Although her work has been the subject of regular exhibitions since the early 90s, notably at major international events, her presence remains as discreet as it is influential.

The title of the exhibition, Le cercle est le monde (The Circle is the World), chosen by the artist, is itself a paradoxical metaphor, contrasting a simple idea with the abyssal breadth of its associations.

Anne-Marie Schneider claims to work with "the conscious and the unconscious at the same time". In so doing, she draws us into a vast analogical system where a thing and the idea of a thing, like a body and its shadow, walk strangely side by side.
